Figures

In the Augarten collection of figures there are many themes that underline the diversity of the selection. Each figure is a miniature work of art in its own right. This quality of idea and perfection of execution is unequalled in the world’s present porcelain production. The famous “Courbette” from the Spanish Riding School series is made of 68 different single pieces in order to achieve the greatest degree of plasticity. The old Viennese figures are still made to models created around 1750. The Art Déco figures captivate beholders with their beguiling charm and perfected beauty of captured motion.
