The perfekt symbol of forms and dimentions

In contrast to pottery which is much easier to shape and paint, the material used for porcelain is not so easy to work with. For this reason the porcelain paste is shaped (thrown) over a revolving plaster mold. Cups, saucers, dishes, bowls, plates, etc., are made by this process. After a drying period of several hours, the foot and rim sections are cleaned and rounded off.
