Robert Ullmann

Austrian sculptor, 1903-1966

Created countless sculptures and sacred figurines, predominantly in wood, marble and bronze.

Also created house signs, monuments and even some memorial plaques for musicians.

Also worth mentioning are his freely composed figurines of humans and animals created over decades for the Vienna Porcelain Manufactory Augarten.

In addition to figurines such as the "Fighting Horses" group, two groups of deer and many other animals, Ullmann also created the female figurine "Susanna" in 1936, today also known as the “Ullmann Akt” (“Ullmann Nude”).

The expression of human closeness and profound sensation is in perfect harmony with form and material.
