Austrian designer, Gottfried Palatin, who spent a great deal of time studying abroad, was since 1984 a designer with main focus on the materials porcelain and glass.

From 1992, there are numerous of his works  in the co-operations with international design companies such as - Authentics, Grundmann, LeitnerDesign, J & L Lobmeyr, Mercantile, Teunen Konzepte, WMF, Wiener Porzellanmanufaktur Augarten, which resulted in various products in different materials. His designs received several awards and have been on display in exhibition in London, Tokyo, New York, Vienna and Hong Kong.

The work of Gottfried Palatin is defined by the tension between design and applied art and can be effortlessly adopted for production due to the sophisticated development process.
