Friedrich Ludwig von Berzeviczy-Pallavicini
He was born 1909 in Lausanne and attended the school of arts and crafts in Vienna. After finishing this school he studied fashion and textile.
Through connections to Josef Hoffmann he was known very fast as one of the leading artistic talented persons and married Klara in 1936. She was the niece of Anna Demel. After laying out the world-famous cake-shop he started working at the Vienna Porcelain Manufactory Augarten as a painter in 1937.
At the end of 1938 he immigrated to Italy were he was artistically active until 1949.
1950 he emigrated to the United States of America were he was presented at many exhibitions. After that he travelled to Hollywood were he designed many Patterns and costumes.
After a while he started his career as Art Director of Elisabeth Arden and worked for Helena Rubinstein.
1965 he took on the Vienna Demel after the death of his wife and led the company until 1972.
1982 he got the honorary membership at the artistic college and lived from then on in the USA, were he died after a full artistic life at the end of the century.
